Founded in 2018, amass studio is an architectural design team that integrates multiple disciplines. Starting from small-scale architecture, interiors, and exhibition spaces, we bridge creative energy with professional execution.
Design can be more than a single discipline. With an open and experimental attitude, we focus on the connection between design and realization while exploring the possibilities of material application and architectural design through shifting perspectives.

“Chengdu Hip-Hop” is the first hip-hop culture exhibition in China initiated and curated by an art museum. Occupying nearly 2,000 square meters across three floors, the exhibition is organized by the A4 Art Museum, initiated by its director Sun Li, curated by Cui Cancan, and developed in collaboration with graffiti artist Shui Gui.
Through three thematic sections, the exhibition presents and reflects on the local evolution of hip-hop culture, its street-based practices, and its relationship with contemporary contexts. More than fifty artists and practitioners participate in the exhibition, including figures from the Chinese rap scene such as Ma Siwei, Xie Di, and Wang Yitai; dancers from the street dance community including Xiao Jie, widely known as the “King of Locking,” and Yang Kai, champion of the show “Street Dance of China”; as well as graffiti artists GAS AKA NIT, SEVE, and DENS A Deng, alongside DJs such as R Sun and Bangbang Lee.
